Tepezza Settlement Payout Date: No Settlement, No Date Yet
Active MDL
As of October 19, 2026, there is no Tepezza settlement payout date, because there is no Tepezza settlement. No fund, no payout schedule, no claim form. The federal hearing-loss cases are still open before one judge in Chicago, and the docket was active as recently as October 16, 2026. This page covers only the payout question; the case itself is on our Tepezza hearing loss lawsuit page.

The Short Answer on Money
People searching “tepezza lawsuit payout” want a date and a number. Honestly, there is neither. No court has approved any Tepezza settlement, no jury verdict has been reported in the court record we could see, and Amgen, which now sells the drug, has not disclosed a settlement in its securities filings.
Amgen’s quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2026, filed August 5, 2026, lists Tepezza sales of $576 million for the quarter. We found no Tepezza settlement payment or settlement reserve in it. The drug is still on the market and the lawsuits are still pending.
Case details
The federal cases are consolidated as In re: Tepezza Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 3079, master docket No. 1:23-cv-03568 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, before Judge Thomas M. Durkin, with Magistrate Judge M. David Weisman handling scheduling. The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation sent the cases there on June 2, 2023. The defendant named in the individual suits is Horizon Therapeutics USA, Inc. Each plaintiff keeps an individual case inside the MDL — for example Raspa v. Horizon Therapeutics USA, Inc., No. 1:25-cv-05183.
Status: Open MDL, No Settlement, No Payout Date
The trial calendar. On August 14, 2025 Judge Durkin reset the bellwether (test) trials to August 3, 2026, September 28, 2026, November 30, 2026 and February 1, 2027. We could not confirm from the court record whether the August 3, 2026 trial went ahead. Secondary sources contradict each other, and the 2026 docket entries visible to us — orders in February, a new complaint on May 14, party substitutions in July and on October 16 — show no trial, no verdict and no settlement. Treat any claim of a Tepezza verdict or deal as unconfirmed until it appears on the court docket or in an Amgen filing.

Who Would Be Paid, and How
This is not a class action. Nobody is paid automatically, and there is no list to join. Money in a drug-injury MDL goes only to people with their own filed case or a signed claim with a lawyer, and it flows through that lawyer.
If you have a case: your attorney is the only source of a real payout date for you. If a settlement is ever announced, ask them what the program requires, whether medical records or audiology tests must be submitted, and whether health-insurance or Medicare reimbursement claims must be cleared before money is released.
If you have no case: no settlement notice will reach you, because there is no class to notify.
How Much Per Person? Nobody Knows Yet
If the cases do settle, mass-tort deals are usually paid case by case through a points or tier system: each claimant’s documented injury, treatment and proof of Tepezza use decide the amount, and attorney fees, case costs and medical liens come out before the net payment. That process typically takes months after a deal is signed. None of it has started for Tepezza.
How cases like this one end
Our copy of the federal courts’ own case database covers 83,315 other statutory actions casesclosed in U.S. federal district courts between 2015 and 2026, 11.8% of them filed as class actions:
- 25.6% ended in a settlement recorded by the court. Another 22.4% were dismissed voluntarily, which often follows a private settlement — so the real settlement share sits between 25.6% and 47.9%.
- 7.4% were decided on a motion before any trial.
- 1 in 156 reached a trial (0.6%), after a median of 21.8 months.
- Median time from filing to the end of the case: 4.9 months.
- Only 1,756 of them (2.1%) record a money award at all; the median of those is $199,500.
These are base rates for this type of case (federal other statutory actions cases) — not a prediction about this lawsuit, and not legal advice. Source: Federal Judicial Center, Integrated Database (civil), analysed by Settlement Insight. Cases heard in state courts are not included.

The latest entry we found is a party substitution. The MDL remains open; nothing on the docket points to a settlement.

No settlement, no fund, no administrator, no claim form and no payment date exist.
Three Things to Watch For
A drug case with no settlement and lots of searches for a payout date attracts these:
“Your Tepezza settlement check is ready”
There is no Tepezza settlement and no fund, so there is no check. A call, text or email asking for a fee or bank details to release one is fraud.
“Register for the Tepezza settlement” forms
There is no claims portal. Pages promising a payout for your name, diagnosis and infusion dates are usually lead forms that sell your information to law firms, not filings.
Guaranteed Tepezza payout amounts
No verdict or settlement has set a value for these claims. Anyone guaranteeing a figure per person is advertising, not reporting.
Tepezza Payout — Questions People Actually Ask
Short answers to the questions people ask most about this case.
What is the Tepezza settlement payout date?
There is none. As of October 19, 2026, no Tepezza settlement exists, so no payment date has been set. The cases are still pending in MDL No. 3079 in the Northern District of Illinois.
Is there a Tepezza lawsuit payout yet?
No. No settlement has been approved and no verdict appears in the court record we could see. Amgen’s quarterly report filed August 5, 2026 discloses no Tepezza settlement.
How much money could be paid out per person in the Tepezza lawsuit?
Nobody can say yet. There is no settlement fund or payout grid. Per-person figures on law-firm sites are estimates. If cases settle, each claimant’s amount would depend on their own documented injury and records, minus fees, costs and liens.
Did the August 3, 2026 Tepezza trial happen?
We could not confirm it. On August 14, 2025 the court set the first bellwether trial for August 3, 2026, but sources disagree on whether it went forward, and the 2026 docket entries visible to us show no trial or verdict.
When are the next Tepezza trial dates?
Under the August 14, 2025 order, the later bellwether dates were September 28, 2026, November 30, 2026 and February 1, 2027. Our own Tepezza lawsuit page reports that the court later struck the bellwether deadlines; we could not confirm that from the docket entries visible to us, so treat these dates as unconfirmed and check with a lawyer handling a Tepezza case or the court docket.
Will I get a settlement notice in the mail?
Only if you have your own case. This is a mass tort, not a class action: there is no class to notify. If you hired a lawyer, any payout information will come from them.
Does Medicare cover Tepezza?
That is an insurance coverage question, not part of the lawsuit, and this page cannot answer it. Ask Medicare or your plan directly. Separately, if Medicare paid for treatment of an injury claimed in a lawsuit, it can claim reimbursement from any settlement before you are paid.
How will I know if a Tepezza settlement is announced?
A real settlement would show up on the MDL No. 3079 court docket and, if material, in Amgen’s SEC filings. If you have a case, your attorney will contact you. Ignore payout offers that reach you any other way.
