Batches of payment notifications continue to arrive, and searches like "is distribution@bcbssettlement.com legit" are spiking. It is a genuine administrator address — but verify by typing bcbssettlement.com directly or calling (888) 681-1142 rather than clicking email links.
Per the official administrator site, the initial distribution of payments to Damages Class Members with valid claims started May 11, 2026. Claimants who elected a prepaid card receive an activation email from distribution@BCBSsettlement.com.

Payments roll out in batches on the administrator's internal schedule. Two claimants with similar coverage can be weeks apart by happenstance of batch position — it does not signal a problem with your claim.
