Your free account

You can create a free Settlement Insight account with your email address. You sign in with a link we email you; it works for 30 minutes. Anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email account secure. You can sign out of a browser at any time, and you can delete your account on your Account page.

Reminders are a courtesy, not a guarantee. When you follow a case, we try to email you before its claim deadline and when a claim period opens. Deadlines can change, emails can be delayed or filtered as spam, and our information can be incomplete. Always check the official settlement website or notice for the current deadline and how to file — don't rely only on our reminders. We are not the settlement administrator, and we don't file claims for you.

We may suspend or delete accounts that misuse the service, for example by signing up other people's email addresses.

The Settlement Insight AI Legal Assistant

The Settlement Insight AI Legal Assistant (the “Assistant”) is an artificial-intelligence chat tool. Its answers are generated by an AI model provided by Anthropic and draw on our database of settlements, lawsuits and public records.

The Assistant provides general legal information, not legal advice. It is not a lawyer, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone. Answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always confirm deadlines, eligibility and amounts with the official settlement website, the court record or a licensed attorney before you act.

Do not enter Social Security numbers, account or claim numbers, passwords or detailed medical information. You are responsible for what you enter and for how you use the answers.

Free use is limited to a few questions per day. We may limit, change or pause the Assistant at any time, for example to prevent abuse or when demand is high.

Settlement Insight Plus

Settlement Insight Plus (“Plus”) gives you up to 50 Assistant questions per day. The daily count resets at midnight U.S. Eastern Time. Plus is offered to users located in the United States.

Plus is available as:

• a 7-day pass — a one-time payment for 7 days of Plus. It does not renew and ends automatically.
• a monthly subscription or a yearly subscription — these renew automatically, as described below.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars before you pay and may be subject to applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

No password needed. Plus is linked to the email address you use at checkout. To use Plus on another device or browser, sign in to your free account with that same email address — we email you a sign-in link. “Sign out” signs you out of that browser only; your plan keeps running.

Automatic Renewal and Cancellation

Monthly and yearly Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and we charge the payment method you used at checkout at the price then in effect, until you cancel. The 7-day pass never renews.

You can cancel at any time on the Assistant page by choosing “Manage subscription,” or by emailing support@settlementinsight.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Plus until then, and you will not be charged again.

If we change the price of a subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.

If a renewal payment fails, we may pause Plus until the payment goes through or the subscription ends.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give partial refunds when you cancel during a billing period, except where the law requires otherwise. If something went wrong — for example, you were charged twice or Plus did not work for you — email support@settlementinsight.com within 7 days of the payment and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. If we refund a payment, the Plus access it paid for ends.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually resolve problems faster.

If we discontinue Plus, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

Fair Use

Plus is for your personal use. Do not share your access, use automated tools, or resell answers. We may suspend or end Plus without refund if it is used in violation of these Terms, and we may take reasonable steps to prevent abuse, such as rate limits.
