As of October 11, 2026, the Joint Juice settlement payout date has passed: the administrator was reported to begin issuing payments on September 15, 2026. This page covers only the money — when, how much, how it arrives and what to do if it does not. For the case itself and who qualifies, see our Joint Juice settlement overview. Whatever form your payment takes, it has to be cashed or deposited within 90 days.

Two Settlements, Two Payment Pools
There are two separate Joint Juice settlements, run by the same administrator, JND Legal Administration, from one website: JointJuiceSettlement.com.
Multi-State (purchases in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan or Pennsylvania): a $70.84 million fund.
New York (purchases in New York): a $19.16 million fund.
Which pool pays you depends on where you bought the product. The two pools pay different rates per unit, so a friend in another state may receive a very different joint juice settlement amount for the same purchases.
Case Details
The Multi-State settlement is Bland v. Premier Nutrition Corporation, Case No. RG19002714, in the Superior Court of California for the County of Alameda, before Judge Michael Markman. The New York settlement is Montera v. Premier Nutrition Corporation, No. 3:16-cv-06980-RS, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, before Judge Richard Seeborg. Both orders confirm JND Legal Administration as the administrator and name the Rheumatology Research Foundation as the recipient of any money left after the cashing period.
Status: Payments Issued, 90-Day Window Running
The official site does not post a payment date. ClaimDepot, a settlement-tracking site, reported in an update dated September 16, 2026, that the administrator “began issuing payments to approved claimants on Sept. 15, 2026” in both settlements. The settlement agreements require payments to go to all valid class members at approximately the same time, so if you were approved and have seen nothing by October, it is worth checking your email spam folder before calling.
Both agreements set the same hard limit: a physical check not cashed within 90 days of issuance, or an eCheck not deposited within 90 days, is cancelled and the money goes to the cy pres recipient.
Who Gets Paid Automatically and Who Needed a Claim
Direct Payment Class Members are paid automatically. These are the people who received an email or postcard saying so, identified from retailer purchase records. Per the administrator's filings, that was 335,768 people in the Multi-State settlement and 12,576 in the New York settlement.
Claim-In Class Members are paid only if they filed a valid claim by May 18, 2026. Up to six units were payable without receipts; more required proof of purchase. If you never got a notice and never filed, there is no payment coming, and the deadline cannot be reopened through this website.

Joint Juice Settlement Amount: Estimates vs. What Is Paid
Why your check may differ: both agreements adjust every payment pro rata. If the money left after fees and costs exceeds the value of valid claims, payments are increased — up to seven times the original amount. If it falls short, they are reduced.
Before final approval, JND reported about $30 million in claimed and automatic payments in the Multi-State case, and $2,275,050 in automatic payments plus roughly $3.3 million claimed against a New York class share of $9,139,664.55. Those were early figures, subject to validation. No official per-person amount paid has been published. Figures people post online are self-reported and we have not verified them.
How cases like this one end
Our copy of the federal courts’ own case database covers 129,730 other contract casesclosed in U.S. federal district courts between 2015 and 2026, 6% of them filed as class actions:
- 30.7% ended in a settlement recorded by the court. Another 20.2% were dismissed voluntarily, which often follows a private settlement — so the real settlement share sits between 30.7% and 50.9%.
- 7.5% were decided on a motion before any trial.
- 1 in 72 reached a trial (1.4%), after a median of 29.3 months.
- Median time from filing to the end of the case: 7.6 months.
- Only 7,691 of them (5.9%) record a money award at all; the median of those is $407,000.

Three Things to Watch For
A payment that arrives by email is new to many class members, which is exactly what imposters count on:
“Pay a fee to release your Joint Juice check”
The settlement agreements bar fees on any payment method, and the administrator never asks you to pay to receive money. Any request for a fee, a gift card or bank login is not from JND.
Payment emails you cannot match to the official site
Is the joint juice settlement check legit? Do not judge by the email itself. Type JointJuiceSettlement.com into your browser, or call 1-888-921-0720, and confirm the payment there before clicking any link.
“Late claim” or “second round” offers
The claim deadline passed on May 18, 2026. No official second round has been announced. Leftover money goes to a research charity, not to new claimants, so a site taking new Joint Juice claims now is not part of this settlement.
Joint Juice Settlement Check — Questions People Actually Ask
When is the Joint Juice settlement payout date?
Payments were reported to start on September 15, 2026, in both the Multi-State and New York settlements. The official site does not publish a payment date, so this comes from ClaimDepot's update of September 16, 2026. The joint juice settlement payment date for the first payments therefore passed several weeks ago.
How much is the Joint Juice settlement amount per person?
It depends on how many units you bought and where. The official estimates were about $10 or $25 per unit (Multi-State) and about $50 per unit (New York), adjusted pro rata — upward by up to seven times or downward — depending on the claims. No official per-person average has been published.
How is the Joint Juice settlement check sent?
Either as a physical check mailed to your last known address, or as an electronic check (eCheck) if you chose that option in the payment portal or claim form. If you made no choice, the agreements say you get a physical check.
Is the Joint Juice settlement check legit?
Real payments come from the settlement run by JND Legal Administration. Verify on JointJuiceSettlement.com or at 1-888-921-0720 or info@JointJuiceSettlement.com before depositing anything, and never pay a fee to receive it.
I filed a claim but have not been paid. What should I do?
Check spam and junk folders for an eCheck email first. Then contact the administrator with your claim ID: 1-888-921-0720, info@JointJuiceSettlement.com, or Joint Juice Settlement, c/o JND Legal Administration, P.O. Box 91440, Seattle, WA 98111. Claims can be denied, for example if more than six units were claimed without proof.
What if my check is lost or expires?
Contact the administrator well before the 90 days are up. The agreements require at least one reminder email no earlier than 30 days after issuance and no later than 14 days before the payment expires. Once 90 days pass, uncashed money is redirected to the cy pres recipient.
What is the class action lawsuit against Joint Juice?
The settlements resolve lawsuits alleging that Premier Nutrition used deceptive advertising for Joint Juice glucosamine supplements. Premier Nutrition denies wrongdoing. The full background is on our Joint Juice settlement page.
When to expect a settlement payment if I have not received one?
The agreements require all valid class members to be paid at approximately the same time, so an approved payment should already have been issued. If yours has not arrived, contact the administrator rather than waiting — the 90-day cashing window starts at issuance, not when you notice the email.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
