What We Checked — and What Exists
Several hospital systems have been sued over Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and similar code on their websites and patient portals. Asante’s portal is Epic’s MyChart (login page: “Log in with your password for Asante Health Systems”). We searched news, court-reporting sites and class-action trackers for an Asante tracking case and found none.
The one known Asante data breach was an insider case, not a hack. According to Asante’s notice, a physician who was not an Asante employee, but had access to its health-record system, viewed records without a clinical need between June 12, 2014 and January 3, 2023. HHS lists 8,834 patients. The information was names, demographic, diagnostic and treatment details — not full Social Security numbers or bank data. We found no lawsuit and no settlement over it.
Case Details
None of the Asante cases we found is a federal case. Wage class action: filed March 18, 2026 in Jackson County Circuit Court by a registered nurse at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, backed by the Oregon Nurses Association. It seeks about $2.5 million: $500,000 in unpaid wages plus $2 million in penalties and damages. We could not find a case number.
Drug-diversion suits: individual civil suits by former patients and families, also in Jackson County, initially totaling over $500 million. They were stayed in September 2024 while the related criminal case moves forward.
Status: No Patient Case, No Settlement
The wage case is pending, with no reported ruling or settlement that we could find. On the drug-diversion suits, the Rogue Valley Times reported on March 19, 2026 that most had settled, on confidential terms. Those are individual cases, not a class anyone can join. If a tracking case is filed later, we will update this page.
Who Could Be Affected
Patients who used asante.org or Asante MyChart: there is no case to be part of right now. If you want to know whether tracking cases elsewhere cover what you did, our MyChart tracking form asks three things: website or MyChart, what you did there (booked an appointment, looked up a condition, paid a bill) and when you last used it.
Patients in the 2023 snooping notice: your letter tells you that you were one of the 8,834. No lawsuit followed that we could find.
Hourly workers: the wage case seeks to represent about 6,000 hourly workers since 2020, including nearly 5,000 current employees.
Is There Any Money?
For workers: the wage complaint asks for $2.5 million in total. That is a demand, not an award. Nothing has been paid.

Three Things to Watch For
When people search for a case that does not exist, other sites fill the gap:
“Claim your Asante MyChart settlement”
There is no Asante settlement for patients, so there is no official claim site. A page that asks for your MyChart login, Social Security number or a fee to “file” is collecting your data.
Emails that look like MyChart
A message saying you are owed money and must “verify your MyChart account” through a link is phishing. Sign in only by typing Asante’s MyChart address yourself or using the official app.
Borrowed payout numbers
Lead-generation pages often attach another hospital’s settlement amount to Asante’s name. If a figure has no Asante case name, court and administrator behind it, treat it as advertising.
Asante Lawsuit — Questions People Actually Ask
Is there an Asante MyChart lawsuit?
Not that we could find as of October 8, 2026. We found no class action over Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or other tracking on asante.org or Asante MyChart. Pixel cases have been filed against other hospitals, and each of those names its own hospital as defendant — not Epic.
Is there an Asante data breach settlement?
No. The known Asante data breach was an insider case: a physician viewed 8,834 patients’ records without a clinical need between June 12, 2014 and January 3, 2023. We found no lawsuit and no settlement over it.
What is the Asante class action lawsuit in the news?
A wage case. It was filed March 18, 2026 in Jackson County Circuit Court by a nurse backed by the Oregon Nurses Association. It alleges time rounding, unpaid meal and rest breaks and unpaid premium pay, and it seeks about $2.5 million for roughly 6,000 hourly workers. Patients are not part of it.
What about the Rogue Regional drug-diversion lawsuits?
Those are individual suits by patients and families, not a class action. They were filed in Jackson County and initially totaled over $500 million. As of March 19, 2026, attorneys reported that most had settled on confidential terms. The related criminal case covers 44 patients, 16 of whom died. Its September 2026 trial was canceled.
Is the Asante patient portal MyChart?
Yes. Asante uses Epic’s MyChart, and its login page reads “Log in with your password for Asante Health Systems.” Patients use it to message doctors, see results, book appointments and pay bills.
I used Asante’s website or MyChart. Should I do anything?
There is nothing to file and no deadline. If you want a record of your use in case a tracking case is ever filed, note whether you used the website or MyChart, what you did there, and when you last used it. Our form asks exactly that.
I got a letter or email about an Asante settlement. Is it real?
We know of no Asante patient settlement, so treat it with suspicion. A real notice names the case, the court and an administrator, and never asks for a fee. Check the court and administrator names yourself before you click anything.
Where can I find open hospital privacy settlements?
Our list of open class action settlements shows cases that still accept claims. The SSM Health and Wellstar pages show how hospital tracking cases work once they are filed.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
