As of October 8, 2026 we found no PeaceHealth lawsuit over Meta Pixel, Google tracking or the My PeaceHealth (MyChart) portal — so there is no PeaceHealth MyChart lawsuit settlement, no fund and no claim form. The PeaceHealth settlement that does exist is different: up to $13.4 million in hospital-bill refunds to low-income Washington patients, announced in 2023.

What We Checked, and What We Found
Dozens of hospital systems have been sued for allegedly sending website and patient-portal activity to Meta, Google and other ad platforms. We searched for a PeaceHealth class action of that kind and found none as of October 8, 2026 — no complaint, no court docket, no settlement notice. That is a finding about public records we could reach, not a guarantee that no case will ever be filed.
PeaceHealth’s patient portal is My PeaceHealth, which PeaceHealth itself describes as “also known as MyChart” (sign-in at my.peacehealth.org). MyChart is software made by Epic; in the cases filed elsewhere the defendant is the hospital, not Epic.
On a PeaceHealth data breach, the incident on public record is an insider case: in 2017 PeaceHealth found that a former employee had looked at records of 1,969 patients of St. Joseph Medical Center and Southwest Medical Center, from November 2011 to July 2017, without a work reason. We found no lawsuit or settlement tied to it.
Case Details
The PeaceHealth settlement in the news is not a class action. On November 20, 2023 the Washington Attorney General announced that PeaceHealth would refund up to $13.4 million to more than 15,000 low-income patients of its five western Washington hospitals (Bellingham, Friday Harbor, Longview, Sedro-Woolley, Vancouver). A consent decree was filed in Whatcom County Superior Court. The AG found that PeaceHealth billed patients who likely qualified for financial assistance without telling them; PeaceHealth said it did everything the law required. The full release is at the Washington Attorney General’s site.
The best-known PeaceHealth class action lawsuit was about pay, not privacy: Dewitt et al. v. PeaceHealth, No. 6:21-cv-00825 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, over an allegedly unlawful time-rounding policy. The federal docket lists a court opinion dated October 26, 2023; a fee award in the case suggests a class settlement, but we could not read the settlement terms. A separate wage-and-hour suit by a former nurse was filed in Clark County Superior Court in February 2024; we could not confirm its current status.
Status: No Tracking Case, No Claim Form
The charity-care refunds were handled by PeaceHealth and the Attorney General, not a class administrator: about $4.2 million went out as checks in the mail to more than 4,500 patients, and up to $9.2 million more was set aside for roughly 11,000 patients who had to return a form proving income. The AG release gives no claim deadline. If you think you were one of those patients, PeaceHealth’s line for questions was 877-314-2011.
How to Check Whether You Could Be Affected
For tracking cases at other hospitals, class members were typically people who used the hospital website or patient portal during a set period while ad trackers were running. Since no PeaceHealth case exists, nobody is a class member today.
What you can note now: whether you used the PeaceHealth website or My PeaceHealth, what you did there (booked an appointment, searched a condition, messaged a doctor, paid a bill) and roughly when you last did it. That is what our form asks, and it is what any future notice would turn on. Washington patients can see how similar cases played out on our Washington MyChart page.
For the refunds: they covered Washington hospital patients only. According to The Lund Report, PeaceHealth said they would not extend to Oregon.

Three Things to Watch For
When a hospital name trends next to the word “settlement,” imposters follow:
“Claim your PeaceHealth MyChart payment”
There is no PeaceHealth tracking settlement, so there is no claim site. A page asking for your My PeaceHealth login, date of birth or Social Security number to “verify” you is collecting data.
Fake charity-care refund calls
The real refunds came as checks in the mail or a letter from the Attorney General’s Office. Nobody legitimate asks for a fee or bank login to release a refund. If unsure, call PeaceHealth at the number in the AG release.
Phishing that copies portal alerts
“New message in My PeaceHealth” emails are easy to fake. Type my.peacehealth.org yourself instead of clicking a link in an email or text.
PeaceHealth Lawsuit — Questions People Actually Ask
Is there a PeaceHealth MyChart lawsuit?
Not that we could find as of October 8, 2026. We found no PeaceHealth lawsuit over Meta Pixel, Google tracking or the My PeaceHealth portal, and no settlement or claim form for one.
What is the PeaceHealth patient portal called?
My PeaceHealth. PeaceHealth describes it as “also known as MyChart” — it runs on Epic’s MyChart software. Sign-in is at my.peacehealth.org.
What was the $13.4 million PeaceHealth settlement?
A November 20, 2023 resolution with the Washington Attorney General over charity care. PeaceHealth agreed to refund up to $13.4 million to more than 15,000 low-income patients of its five Washington hospitals and to pay $2 million to the AG’s Office.
Can I still get a charity-care refund?
Direct refunds were mailed as checks. A second group of roughly 11,000 patients had to return an income form after receiving a letter. The AG release names no deadline; PeaceHealth’s number for questions was 877-314-2011. Oregon patients were not included.
Has there been a PeaceHealth data breach?
The PeaceHealth data breach on record is a 2017 insider case: an employee viewed records of 1,969 patients from November 2011 to July 2017. Social Security numbers and financial data were not accessed, per the report. We found no lawsuit or settlement over it.
Is there any PeaceHealth class action lawsuit?
Yes, but about wages. Dewitt v. PeaceHealth (D. Or., No. 6:21-cv-00825) challenged time rounding; a court opinion is dated October 26, 2023, but we could not confirm the settlement terms. A February 2024 nurse wage suit in Clark County is a separate case whose status we could not confirm.
Is MyChart or Epic being sued instead?
In hospital tracking cases elsewhere, the defendant is the hospital that put trackers on its own pages, not Epic. See why your hospital is the defendant.
What can I do right now?
Note whether you used the PeaceHealth website or My PeaceHealth, what you did there and when you last used it. Keep any letter from PeaceHealth or the Attorney General. And check our MyChart claim form list if you also used another hospital’s portal.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
