Who Is Behind finastradatasettlement.com
The domain belongs to the settlement, not to a law firm. The court-approved long-form notice prints it on every page: “Questions? Call (866) 719-4418 Toll-Free or Visit www.FinastraDataSettlement.com.” The preliminary approval order appoints Simpluris, Inc. as Settlement Administrator, and Simpluris runs the website, the phone line and the mailbox.
Why a company you never dealt with? Finastra sells software to banks and lenders. According to the settlement agreement, an unauthorized third party accessed Finastra’s Secure File Transfer Platform at various times between October 31, 2024 and November 8, 2024, and took files containing information about “certain of Defendant’s clients’ customers.” Your bank or lender was the client; you were the customer. The official site says those files may have contained names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers and financial account numbers. Finastra denies doing anything wrong.

How to Tell a Real Notice From a Fake
A real notice comes from the administrator, not from Finastra’s marketing or a law firm. The official site lists a notification email date of September 18, 2026, and the settlement agreement also allows postcard notice by mail. A genuine notice will match all of the following:
It names Hughes v. Finastra Technology, Inc. and Case No. CACE26013154.
It points only to www.FinastraDataSettlement.com, (866) 719-4418, or info@FinastraDataSettlement.com.
Paper mail goes to Finastra Data Incident Settlement, P.O. Box 25226, Santa Ana, CA 92799-9958.
It gives you a login ID and PIN for the online claim form. It never asks for a fee.
The class is “All living individuals residing in the United States who were sent notice by Defendant that their Private Information may have been impacted in the Data Incident.” If you got Finastra’s own breach letter, you are almost certainly in the class. To be safe, type the address yourself instead of clicking a link.
What You Can Claim, and by When
Documented losses: up to $2,500 for out-of-pocket costs between October 31, 2024 and November 27, 2026, with receipts or bank statements.
Pro rata cash: an equal share of what remains, with no proof needed. No amount has been set; the notice says an estimate will be posted on the settlement website.
Every class member can also claim one year of CyEx Financial Shield Complete, which includes $1 million in fraud insurance. Claims must be submitted online or postmarked by November 27, 2026. To estimate a payout, use our data breach settlement calculator.

Three Things to Watch For
The real site is legitimate, and that is exactly why look-alikes copy it:
Look-alike domains and links
The only address is finastradatasettlement.com. Hyphenated versions, other endings, and links that go through a shortener are not it. Type the address from your notice yourself and use the login ID and PIN printed on it.
Calls or texts asking for your SSN or bank login
The claim form needs your notice credentials and a payment choice, not your online banking password. Anyone asking you to pay to receive settlement money is not the administrator.
“Your Finastra check is ready” messages
As of October 2026, no payments exist. Benefits come only after the court grants final approval at or after the December 14, 2026 hearing, and after any appeals. A payment notice before then is fake.
FinastraDataSettlement.com — Questions People Actually Ask
Short answers to the questions people ask most about this case.
Is finastradatasettlement.com legit?
Yes. It is the court-approved settlement website for Hughes v. Finastra Technology, Inc., Case No. CACE26013154, in Broward County, Florida. The court-approved notice prints the address, and Simpluris runs it as the court-appointed administrator.
Is Finastra legit?
Yes, it is a real company. Finastra is a London-headquartered financial software company that sells software to banks and lenders. Your data reached it through your bank or lender, not because you were a direct customer. The settlement concerns the late-2024 breach of its file-transfer platform. Finastra denies wrongdoing.
What does Finastra do?
It sells software for retail banking, transaction banking, lending and treasury. It was formed in 2017 by combining Misys and D+H and is owned by Vista Equity Partners. For questions about Finastra as a business or employer, contact the company; this page covers only the settlement.
Why did I get an email about a company I never used?
The files taken were held by Finastra for its clients, and they included information about those clients’ customers. If Finastra sent you a breach letter, you are in the class. That letter offered 24-month credit monitoring, and it is separate from this settlement notice.
How much will I get?
Up to $2,500 for documented losses, or an equal pro rata share with no proof required. The pro rata amount depends on how many people claim and has not been announced. You can add one year of CyEx credit monitoring either way.
What is the deadline?
File online or by mail, postmarked by November 27, 2026. The deadline to opt out or object is November 13, 2026. If you do nothing, you get no payment and you give up your right to sue Finastra over this incident.
When will payments be sent?
Not before final approval. The hearing is December 14, 2026. Payments go out after approval and after any appeals are resolved, so no date has been set. The settlement website shuts down nine months after final approval.
How do I contact the administrator?
Call (866) 719-4418 toll-free, email info@FinastraDataSettlement.com, or write to Finastra Data Incident Settlement, P.O. Box 25226, Santa Ana, CA 92799-9958. Check that any other number or address matches these before you use it.
