If you are searching for a Carle Health MyChart lawsuit, here is the short answer: as of October 8, 2026 we found no class action claiming that carle.org or the MyCarle patient portal sent patient data to Meta or Google. No settlement, no fund, no claim form, no deadline. What does exist: a January 2026 breach at Carle’s vendor XSolis that hit 1,444 Carle patients, and two employee cases that settled.

What We Checked, and What We Found
Carle Health is a nonprofit health system headquartered in Urbana, Illinois. Its hospitals include Carle Foundation Hospital, Carle BroMenn, Carle Eureka and Carle Health Methodist. Its patient portal is MyCarle (MyCarle.com), built on Epic’s MyChart software — Carle’s own materials call the messaging feature “MyChart messages.”
The hospital lawsuits people mean by “MyChart lawsuit” allege that tracking code such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics on a hospital website or portal sent page visits, searches or appointment clicks to the ad companies. We searched news, law-firm announcements and the federal docket database CourtListener for any such Carle health lawsuit. A search for “Carle Foundation” with pixel, Meta or privacy returned 38 dockets; none is a tracking case against Carle. Illinois state-court filings cannot be searched the same way, so a state case filed there would not show up in that search.
Case Details
No tracking case, no court, no case number. The Carle cases we could confirm are different matters:
XSolis vendor breach. XSolis, a Tennessee company Carle uses for case and utilization management, detected unauthorized activity on January 22, 2026 after a targeted phishing attack on January 20, 2026. It told Carle on April 23, 2026, and the breach was reported to HHS on June 19, 2026: 1,444 Carle patients, about 1.4 million people across all XSolis clients. Twelve federal suits against XSolis were consolidated in July 2026; we did not find a suit naming Carle. See our XSolis data breach lawsuit page.
Hourly-pay settlement. Pierro v. The Carle Foundation Hospital, No. 2:23-cv-02117 (C.D. Ill.), alleged that rounded clock-in and clock-out times underpaid hourly workers; Carle denied it and agreed to pay $10.45 million.
Tobacco surcharge. Employees challenged an extra $650 a year charged to tobacco users for health coverage in the Central District of Illinois; Bloomberg reported a tentative class-wide settlement, with terms not disclosed and court approval still to be sought at that time.
Status: No Carle Tracking Case, Nothing to Claim
If a tracking case is ever filed, it would not pay automatically. Similar Illinois hospital cases took years to settle and paid small amounts per person.
What a Carle Patient Can Check
For tracking: nobody is in a Carle class, because there is no Carle case. In other hospital cases, the class was people who used the hospital’s website, portal or scheduling tool during the years the trackers were live, and the hospital usually sent a notice first. If you ever get a letter from Carle about third-party tracking technology, keep it.
For the XSolis breach: XSolis mailed individual letters to affected Carle patients. Questions go to the XSolis call center at 1-844-406-4585 or xsolisdataincident.com. No letter generally means your record was not among the 1,444.
Our form on this page asks whether you used the Carle website or MyCarle, what you did there (searched symptoms, booked visits, read results) and when you last used it. That helps us see if a pattern is worth watching; it does not file a claim. For open hospital cases elsewhere, see our MyChart class action claim form guide.

Three Things to Watch For
A search term with no case behind it is an easy target. Watch for these:
“Claim your Carle MyChart settlement” sites
There is no Carle tracking settlement, so there is no claim site. A page asking for your MyCarle login, date of birth or Social Security number to “secure your payment” is collecting data, not filing anything.
Calls citing the XSolis letter
The vendor letter gives scammers a story. The real XSolis call center number is 1-844-406-4585, and it does not ask for payment. Call that number yourself instead of one given by a caller.
Ads mixing up the employee settlements
The $10.45 million Carle settlement was for hourly employees, and its claim deadline passed on August 29, 2025. Patients are not in that class, and nobody can sell you a late spot.
Carle Health Lawsuit — Questions People Actually Ask
Is there a Carle Health MyChart lawsuit?
Not that we could find. As of October 8, 2026 we found no class action alleging that carle.org or the MyCarle portal shared patient data with Meta, Google or other advertisers, and no settlement or claim form.
Is MyCarle the same as MyChart?
MyCarle is Carle’s name for its patient portal, which runs on Epic’s MyChart software. You use it for refills, test results, scheduling and messages to your care team.
I got a letter about XSolis. Was Carle hacked?
No. XSolis, a vendor Carle uses for case and utilization management, was hit by a phishing attack in January 2026. Carle’s own records system and network were not compromised. The breach covered 1,444 Carle patients; names, birth dates, insurance details, diagnoses, medical record numbers and Social Security numbers may have been involved.
Can I join a lawsuit over the XSolis breach?
Yes, suits exist against XSolis: twelve federal suits filed in Nashville in June 2026 were consolidated on July 15, 2026. We did not find a case naming Carle. See our XSolis page for the vendor case. You do not need to sign up to be in a class; if a class settlement happens, notice goes to class members.
What is the $10.45 million Carle settlement?
It settled Pierro v. The Carle Foundation Hospital, No. 2:23-cv-02117, for hourly workers employed between May 25, 2013 and January 25, 2025. It alleged that rounded clock times underpaid them, and Carle denied it. The claim deadline was August 29, 2025. It has nothing to do with patients.
Have other Illinois hospitals settled MyChart tracking cases?
Yes. Advocate Aurora Health settled for $12.225 million; payments were capped at $50 per person and final approval came July 10, 2024. Our MyChart claim form guide lists which hospital settlements are still open.
How would I know if Carle used a tracking pixel?
In other cases, hospitals that found trackers sent breach notices to patients and reported them to HHS. We found no such Carle notice about tracking. If one is ever sent, keep it: it names the period and the data involved.
What is worth doing right now?
If you got an XSolis letter, freeze your credit at all three bureaus and read your insurer’s explanation-of-benefits statements for care you never received. Keep the letter. For tracking, there is nothing to file.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
