Pulsz Settlement Amounts Per Person: What 27% and 23% Actually Mean
Settlement — Claims Process
There is no flat payout. Your amount is a percentage of what you spent on Pulsz or Pulszbingo minus what you redeemed in prizes, and only in six states. Do nothing and you get Gold Coins credited at 27% of that net figure (the coins carry no cash value); file an election by November 30, 2026 and you can ask for 23% in cash instead. Both are before fees, and the cash pot is capped. The court decides on final approval on December 31, 2026.

What the Lawsuit Says
Pulsz and Pulszbingo are social casino-style games run by Yellow Social Interactive Limited (“YSI”). The lawsuit claims YSI violated the gambling laws of Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey and Massachusetts by selling virtual chips in those games. YSI denies all claims and denies that it violated any law; it agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continuing the case.
This page is about the per-person math. For the news summary of the deal, see our report Pulsz settlement: Gold Coins at 27% or cash at 23%.
Case details
The case is Robinson v. Yellow Social Interactive, LTD., Case No. 33-CV-2025-900072.00, in the Circuit Court of Franklin County, Alabama — a state court, not a federal one. Judge Brian P. Hamilton is presiding. The court’s own e-notice captions it John Pilati v. Yellow Social Interactive, LTD. The Settlement Agreement is dated December 23, 2025, and the judge granted preliminary approval on August 31, 2026. Class counsel are Davis & Norris, LLP and Bedford, Rogers & Bowling, P.C.; YSI is represented by Duane Morris LLP. The court appointed EisnerAmper as settlement administrator. The official site is ysisettlement.com.
Status: Preliminarily Approved, Election Window Open
The settlement agreement estimates the total benefit at about $14 million. That is not a cash fund. Most of it is meant to be delivered as Gold Coins, which the agreement itself describes as “non-redeemable, non-transferrable” with “no cash value.”
Who Is in the Class
You are a class member if you spent money on Pulsz or Pulszbingo while in one of these states, during these windows (all ending August 31, 2026):
Alabama: from March 8, 2022.
Tennessee: from November 12, 2022.
Kentucky: from June 29, 2023.
Ohio, New Jersey, Massachusetts: from February 19, 2024.
Players in other states are not in this settlement. Spending is not the whole test, though: what counts is your Net Purchase Amount — purchases minus successful prize redemptions. If you redeemed as much as you spent or more, your net amount is $0 and there is nothing to elect.
How Much You Get, Per Person
Step 2: pick a track. Do nothing and you get 27% in Gold Coins at 10,000 coins per dollar. On $100 net, that is $27, or 270,000 Gold Coins. File the election and you can ask for 23% in money instead, which is $23 on $100 net.
Step 3: subtract. Both percentages are taken “less” administration costs, the attorneys’ fee award and incentive awards. Class counsel will ask for no more than 30%, and each class representative for no more than $10,000. The agreement’s worked example uses an adjusted $50, which becomes 500,000 Gold Coins.
Step 4: the cash cap. All cash elections together are capped at 25% of the estimated total benefit, roughly $3.5 million out of about $14 million. If more is claimed, everyone’s cash is cut pro rata and the rest arrives as Gold Coins. To get cash you also have to pass YSI’s user verification (KYC); fail it and you get coins.
The honest takeaway: cash is the smaller percentage, but it is the only part with cash value.
Pulsz Settlement Timeline
2023 — An Earlier Kentucky Settlement
Per Top Class Actions, YSI settled Whiting v. Yellow Social Interactive Ltd., No. 2023-CI-00358 (Henderson County, Kentucky), for $1.32 million. Its claim deadline was January 29, 2024. It is closed and separate from the 2026 deal.
November 2024 — California Injunction Suit
Casino.org reported a proposed class action in Orange County Superior Court seeking to shut Pulsz down in California. It seeks public injunctive relief, not payments to players.
December 23, 2025 — Six-State Deal Signed
YSI and the plaintiffs in the Alabama case sign the Settlement Agreement covering six states.
August 31, 2026 — Preliminary Approval
Judge Brian P. Hamilton preliminarily approves the settlement and appoints EisnerAmper as administrator. The class periods close the same day.
November 30, 2026 — Election, Opt-Out and Objection Deadline
Last day to elect cash, exclude yourself or object. The fee request is due by November 16, 2026.
December 31, 2026 — Final Approval Hearing
The court decides whether to approve the deal. Cash is due within 60 days after the settlement becomes final and any appeals end.
Three Things to Watch For
This settlement runs on emails and player accounts, and that is where imposters aim:
Fake “election form” links
The settlement provides that the administrator sends a reminder email with an election link 30 days before the election deadline. The real form is reached from ysisettlement.com. Look-alike pages that ask for your Pulsz password or card number are not part of it.
“Pay a fee to release your cash”
There is nothing to pay. Fees come out of the settlement itself, and the parties agreed no Form W-9 is required. Anyone asking for a processing fee, or for your Social Security number by phone, is not the administrator.
Promises of a fixed per-person payout
No fixed amount exists. Your figure depends on your own net spend, fees and the cash cap. A site quoting a set dollar amount per person is guessing, or after your data.
Pulsz Settlement — Questions People Actually Ask
Short answers to the questions people ask most about this case.
What are the Pulsz lawsuit settlement amounts per person?
There is no flat figure. You get 27% of your Net Purchase Amount (purchases minus prize redemptions) in Gold Coins, or 23% in cash if you elect it by November 30, 2026. Both come after fees and costs. On $100 net, that is $27 in coins or $23 in cash before deductions.
Do I have to file a claim to get anything?
No. If you do nothing, you automatically get the Gold Coin benefit and give up your right to sue YSI over these claims. You only file an Election Form if you want cash instead.
Are the Gold Coins worth real money?
No. The settlement agreement says Gold Coins are “non-redeemable, non-transferrable and carry no cash value.” If your account was dormant and gets reinstated, the agreement says it receives only the settlement Gold Coins: no Sweeps Coins, no sweepstakes games and no purchases.
When will I get paid?
Cash is due within 60 days after final approval and any appeals; checks expire after 90 days. On coins, the documents differ. The FAQ says installments over two or five years. The signed agreement lets YSI spread delivery over up to 12 months, with at least 20% in the first 30 days.
Why might I get less cash than 23%?
All cash elections share a cap of 25% of the estimated total benefit. If elections exceed it, cash is reduced pro rata and the difference is paid in Gold Coins. You also must complete YSI’s user verification to receive cash.
I played Pulsz in another state. Am I included?
No. This settlement covers only Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey and Massachusetts, each with its own start date. The Kentucky settlement from 2023 is closed.
Is this class action settlement worth it?
It depends on your net spend and whether you want cash. Staying in costs nothing but releases your claims. Opting out keeps your right to sue, but you get nothing from this deal. Opt-outs need your Player ID and an ink signature by November 30, 2026. Our payout calculator explains how per-person shares usually work.
Is the Pulsz settlement email real, and who do I call?
The administrator is EisnerAmper, at 1-833-656-1878; class counsel answer free at 1-800-667-6759. Check anything against ysisettlement.com. The site asks people not to call the court or clerk about the settlement.
