As of October 12, 2026, the HexClad settlement is reported to be paying: the administrator began issuing payments to approved claimants on May 21, 2026, according to ClaimDepot, after final approval on March 9, 2026. We could not read the official site's own payment notice (it blocks automated access), so treat both dates as reported, not officially confirmed. Only people who filed a claim by November 14, 2025 get money. This page covers the payout only; the case itself is on our HexClad lawsuit page.

Who Gets a HexClad Settlement Check
Nobody is paid automatically. The official site called the claim form “the only way you can get a cash payment from this Settlement,” and the deadline was November 14, 2025. If you bought eligible cookware but never filed, you are bound by the settlement and receive nothing.
If you did file and your claim was approved, the payment goes to the name and address you gave on the claim. Many people got the original notice by postcard or email from Verita on June 6, 2025; the class lists came from Costco, HexClad and Zola, and Amazon emailed its own customers separately.
Case Details
Cliburn v. One Source to Market, LLC d/b/a Hexclad Cookware, Inc., No. 23STCV28390, Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, Department 11, Hon. David Cunningham, III. This is a state case, not a federal one. The court-appointed administrator is Verita (formerly KCC). Official site: HexCladSettlement.com.
HexClad Settlement Payment Date: What Is Known
How it is paid: ClaimDepot says eligible claimants receive a paper check mailed to the address on the claim. The settlement agreement also speaks of “settlement payment checks.” We found no official confirmation of PayPal, Venmo or other electronic options.
What comes next: under the agreement, checks still uncashed after 120 days fall back into the leftover pool. A second round of HexClad settlement checks happens only if the leftover is enough to pay at least $5.00 more to every class member. Anything left after that goes to a nonprofit (cy pres). No date for either step has been published that we could find.
How to Check Your HexClad Settlement Check Status
There is no public lookup by name. For your hexclad settlement check status, contact the administrator directly:
Phone: 1-866-507-0323
Email: admin@HexCladSettlement.com
Mail: Cliburn v. One Source to Market, LLC d/b/a Hexclad Cookware Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 301172, Los Angeles, CA 90030-1172
Have your claim ID ready. Online claims required either the claim ID and PIN from the notice or an Amazon order ID, so check the confirmation email you got when you filed. If you moved since filing, tell the administrator before anything else: a paper check follows the address on the claim.
HexClad Settlement Amount: Paid vs. Estimated
The fund is $2.5 million, non-reversionary. Before claimants are paid, it covers administration (estimated at $312,000), attorneys’ fees (requested at up to 33 1/3%), expenses of about $51,340 and service awards of about $2,500 for each of the eight class representatives. On August 28, 2025, the administrator had counted 209,712 claims from a class of about 1.93 million. We checked again on October 12, 2026 and found no later published claim count.
The rest is split pro rata, based on what you paid for eligible pots and pans (lids and accessories in bundles do not count), and nobody can get more than they spent. The proposed final order put the expected recovery at about 2% of purchase price.
The “about $6” figure you may have seen for the hexclad settlement amount comes from a reader comment on a news site, not from the court or Verita. It divides an estimated $1.35M net fund by 209,712 claims. Your actual check is the only reliable number.

Is That HexClad Payment Message Real?
A small check sent to claimants (209,712 claims had been counted by August 28, 2025) is an easy hook. Real contact comes from Verita, using the HexCladSettlement.com domain and 1-866-507-0323:
“Confirm your bank details to release your HexClad payment”
The reported payment method is a paper check to the address on your claim. A text or email asking for your bank login, card number or Social Security number to “release” it did not come from the administrator. Call 1-866-507-0323 yourself instead of using a number in the message.
Fees to reissue or “recover” a HexClad check
Reissues are handled by the administrator. Nobody can charge you a percentage to recover a settlement check worth a few dollars; anyone asking for a fee or gift card is not Verita.
“Late HexClad claims still accepted”
The claim deadline was November 14, 2025. A site taking new HexClad claims or asking for your Amazon login to “find your purchase” is collecting data, not filing anything.
HexClad Settlement Payout — Questions People Ask
Is the HexClad settlement paying out?
Yes, according to ClaimDepot: payments to approved claimants began May 21, 2026, after final approval on March 9, 2026. The official site blocks automated access, so we could not confirm this against its own notice. Call 1-866-507-0323 to confirm your individual payment.
What is the HexClad settlement payment date?
The reported start date is May 21, 2026. The agreement itself contains no calendar date for payments; its payment timing runs from court approval, and appeal time had to pass before the settlement became final.
What is the HexClad settlement amount per person?
No official figure is published. Payments are pro rata, based on what you paid for eligible pots and pans, and capped at what you spent. The widely repeated “about $6” is an outside estimate, not a figure from the court or the administrator.
How do I know if I'm owed money from a class action lawsuit?
For this settlement: only if you filed a claim by November 14, 2025 and it was approved. Use the claim ID from your confirmation email and ask Verita at 1-866-507-0323 or admin@HexCladSettlement.com. For other cases, see our list of open class action settlements.
My HexClad settlement check expired or never arrived. What now?
Contact the administrator quickly. Under the agreement, checks uncashed after 120 days go back into the leftover pool and can be redistributed or sent to a nonprofit, so waiting can cost you the money. Give your claim ID and current address. More on this in our guide to settlement check problems.
Will there be a second round of HexClad settlement checks?
Possibly. The agreement provides a second pro rata round only if the leftover is enough to pay at least $5.00 more to every class member. If you did not cash your first check, do not count on a second one. No date has been announced.
What happens to money nobody claims?
It goes to a nonprofit (cy pres). The settlement agreement names Public Justice; the proposed final order submitted to the court named the California Fire Foundation. The signed order decides which, and we have not seen it.
How to claim a warranty on HexClad?
Not through the settlement. It pays cash to approved claimants and limits HexClad's marketing; it does not handle broken or worn pans. Warranty requests go to HexClad's own customer support, not to Verita.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
