Questions about this case?

AI Legal Assistant · free · answers in seconds · general information, not legal advice

As of October 12, 2026, no payment date has been announced. The court granted final approval on January 28, 2026. The administrator has to finish reviewing claims, and payment is due within 30 days after that. No public notice has given a date. This page covers only the payout. For the case itself, see our main Regal Medical settlement page.

Independent information service: Settlement Insight is not the settlement administrator, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the company named above, and is not a law firm. Submitting this form does not file a claim — it shares your information with our participating legal intake partners, who may contact you about your options.

Where the Payment Stands

This is the payout page for the $49,995,000 Regal Medical Group / Heritage Provider Network data breach settlement. For eligibility and case background, see our Regal Medical settlement overview.

The short answer on the regal medical settlement payout date: no date has been published. The last documented step is final approval on January 28, 2026, when Judge Timothy P. Dillon signed the order granting final approval and the judgment.

Under the settlement agreement, payments go out “within thirty (30) days after the later of” the Effective Date and the date all claim forms have been processed. No class member objected, so under the agreement’s definition the judgment became final the day it was entered. The open variable is claims processing: the administrator has not announced when it finished.

As of October 12, 2026, the official site at RegalMedicalSettlement.com still shows its pre-approval text and lists no payment date.

Case Details

Head, et al. v. Regal Medical Group, Inc., et al., Case No. 23STCV02939, is a California state case in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles (Spring Street Courthouse, Department 15), before Judge Timothy P. Dillon. It is not a federal case. The settlement administrator is Simpluris.

On January 28, 2026 the court approved attorneys’ fees of $16,489,717.61 plus $160,282.39 in costs, and a $7,500 service award to each class representative. All of that comes out of the fund before class members are paid. The court also ordered a final report on distribution of the settlement funds by April 26, 2027 and set a court review for April 30, 2027.

What Has to Happen Before Checks Go Out

Approved; payment date not announced as of October 12, 2026. Three conditions sit between approval and your money, all from the settlement agreement:

1. Effective Date. This is one business day after the judgment becomes final. With no objections, the agreement treats the judgment as final the day the court enters it, which was January 28, 2026.

2. Claims processed. The administrator’s count of December 26, 2025 noted that claims had not all been processed or deduplicated. Claims for documented time and out-of-pocket losses can be flagged as deficient, and the claimant then gets time to fix them. That review is what sets the timing.

3. Distribution. Payments go out within 30 days after the later of those two dates. Identity-monitoring enrollment instructions go out within 30 days after the Effective Date.

If you are waiting, the only reliable regal medical settlement update comes from the administrator: the official site, (844) 496-0832, or info@RegalMedicalSettlement.com. We checked again on October 12, 2026 and found no later update.

Who Gets Paid — Claim Filers Only

No one is paid automatically. The official site says submitting a claim form “is the only way” to receive any benefit. The claim deadline was December 22, 2025 and has passed. If you got a notice but never filed, you are bound by the settlement but will not receive a payment.

If you did file, you will be paid the way you chose on your claim form. The agreement allows electronic payment (for example Venmo, PayPal or a prepaid card) or a paper check by U.S. mail. The claim form also listed Zelle. If you chose nothing electronic, expect a check at the address you gave.

Moved since you filed? Tell the administrator in writing at info@RegalMedicalSettlement.com or Regal Medical Data Breach Litigation, c/o Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 25412, Santa Ana, CA 92799. Keeping your address current is your responsibility, not the administrator’s.

Regal Medical Settlement Amount: Paid vs. Estimated

No final per-person amount has been published. The figures below are estimates, not payments.

Flat cash payment (the one most people claimed). In the final approval motion, filed with the court in late December 2025, plaintiffs estimated about $170.61 each for 139,894 class members. That was based on 139,947 claims received by December 26, 2025, roughly 4.11% of the class. Those claims had not yet been fully processed or deduplicated, so the final figure may differ. The original notice gave a range of $357.97 at 2% participation down to $68.72 at 10%.

Documented time: up to $210 (seven hours at $30 an hour), with 4,093 claims filed. Out-of-pocket losses: up to $10,000 per claim. The 1,176 claims totaled $3,235,747.37 after the cap and are reduced pro rata to $2,000,000, so approved loss claims will be paid at a fraction of their face value.

Three Things to Watch For

With 139,947 claims filed and no published payment date, it is easy for scammers to pose as the administrator:

“Confirm your bank details to release your Regal payment”

The payment method was fixed on your claim form. Real messages come from the settlement domain RegalMedicalSettlement.com, with email from info@RegalMedicalSettlement.com and paper mail from P.O. Box 25412, Santa Ana. A message from any other domain that asks for a bank login or your Social Security number is not from the administrator.

Third-party regal medical settlement check status sites

The only status source is the administrator: the official site, (844) 496-0832, or the email above. Sites that ask for your Unique ID, PIN or date of birth to “look up” your check have no access to the claims database.

“Late claim” or “expedite fee” offers

The claim deadline passed on December 22, 2025, and nobody can file for you now. Payments come out of the fund with no fee charged to you. Anyone charging to speed up or reopen a claim is taking your money.

Regal Medical Payout — Questions People Actually Ask

What is the Regal Medical settlement payout date?

As of October 12, 2026, none has been announced. Final approval came on January 28, 2026. Under the settlement agreement, payment is due within 30 days after the later of the Effective Date and the date all claims are processed. The administrator has not said when processing finished.

How do I check my regal medical settlement check status?

Contact the administrator, Simpluris, at (844) 496-0832 or info@RegalMedicalSettlement.com, or check the official site at RegalMedicalSettlement.com. Have the Unique ID from your postcard notice ready, or the name and address you used on your claim.

Regal Medical settlement how much will I get?

No final amount has been published. The best estimate on record is about $170.61 for the flat cash payment. Plaintiffs gave that figure in their December 2025 final-approval motion, based on claims that were not yet fully processed. Documented time pays up to $210. Approved out-of-pocket loss claims are reduced pro rata to fit a $2,000,000 pool.

Will I get a check, or PayPal, Venmo or Zelle?

You get whatever you chose on your claim form. The agreement allows electronic payment (Venmo, PayPal or a prepaid card are its examples) or a paper check, and the claim form also listed Zelle. Any second payment goes out the same way.

I got a notice but never filed. Will I get anything?

No. A claim form was the only way to receive a benefit, and the deadline was December 22, 2025. You are still bound by the settlement’s release.

What if my check is lost, returned or expires?

Checks must be cashed within 120 days after distribution. If a check comes back undeliverable, or an electronic deposit fails, the administrator makes reasonable efforts to find you and resends once. Email info@RegalMedicalSettlement.com right away about a lost or expired check. The agreement does not spell out reissue after the 120 days, so ask early.

Will there be a second payment?

Possibly. If money is left 150 days after the first distribution and it covers at least $3.00 each, there will be a residual payment. Only people who cashed or deposited their first payment get it. If it would be less, the money extends identity monitoring instead, and anything left goes to Privacy Rights Clearinghouse.

What is the latest regal medical settlement update?

Final approval on January 28, 2026 is the last documented step, with no payment date posted as of October 12, 2026. The next fixed date is April 26, 2027, when a report on the distribution of settlement funds is due in court. Other Regal-named settlements, such as a separate ticket-fee case, are unrelated to this one.

This page is for general information only and is not legal advice. Lawsuit status, eligibility, and compensation can change. Settlement Insight is not a law firm and does not represent any party. Consult a licensed attorney about your specific situation.
