As of October 6, 2026, we found no Hartford HealthCare lawsuit or settlement over Meta Pixel, Google or other tracking on its websites or on MyChartPLUS, its patient portal. There is no fund, no claim form and no deadline. The Hartford HealthCare data breach that did make news in 2026 happened on the state Medicaid (HUSKY) provider portal and affected about 22,500 patients — and we found no class action over that either.

What We Checked, and What We Found
Many hospital systems have been sued on the theory that tracking code on their websites or patient portals sent visitors’ activity — appointment requests, searches, log-ins — to Meta or Google. We searched for any such case naming Hartford HealthCare and found none, in state or federal court.
Hartford HealthCare’s portal is MyChartPLUS (sometimes written MyChartPlus). It runs on Epic’s MyChart software and lets patients schedule appointments, message their care team, pay bills and see lab results. The name matters: a “MyChart lawsuit” always targets a specific hospital, never MyChart itself.
If you think tracking affected you, our form on this page asks whether you used the website or MyChartPLUS, what you did there and when you last did it. That is the information any future case would turn on.
Case Details
The court cases that do name Hartford HealthCare are about competition, not privacy. In Estuary Transit District v. Hartford HealthCare Corp., No. 3:24-cv-01051 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, two health plans filed a proposed antitrust class action on June 14, 2024; Judge Michael P. Shea appointed interim class counsel on October 23, 2024. The class is health plans, not patients.
A group of Connecticut residents filed a separate proposed antitrust class action in Hartford Superior Court in February 2022, alleging higher prices for commercially insured residents. Saint Francis Hospital’s own antitrust suit settled on undisclosed terms, per a January 2, 2025 federal filing.
Status: Reference Only, No Settlement
The health plans’ antitrust case is in discovery: the latest docket entries we saw are a plaintiffs’ motion to compel (September 4, 2026) and scheduling orders (September 12, 2026). It does not pay individual patients.
For the HUSKY portal breach, notification letters went out starting May 22, 2026, with an offer of two years of free credit and identity monitoring. We found no lawsuit filed over it.
Which Hartford HealthCare Patients Could Be Affected
Tracking: no case exists, so nobody is a class member of anything today. If one is filed, it would typically cover people who used the hospital’s website or patient portal during a defined period. Note what you did on hartfordhealthcare.org or MyChartPLUS and roughly when.
HUSKY portal breach: about 22,500 Connecticut Medicaid patients of Hartford HealthCare. Per the Department of Social Services, an intruder used compromised Hartford HealthCare employee credentials on March 4, 2026; the activity was found on March 25, 2026. Exposed data could include name, account or Medicaid claim numbers, dates and types of service, payment amounts and other insurance policy and group numbers. Social Security numbers and financial account numbers were not in the system. If you got a letter, keep it. The state’s helpline is 1-855-744-4488.
Older breach: in February 2020, two employees’ email accounts were accessed, affecting up to 2,651 patients.
What Other Hospital Tracking Cases Paid
Wellstar agreed to $4,250,000 for about 870,000 people, to be paid pro rata (final approval hearing Dec 1, 2026). Duke settled for $3,743,600 (about 872,634 people). Mount Sinai’s $5,300,000 settlement paid approved claims on February 3, 2026. Henry Ford Health paid $15 per valid claim.
Per-person amounts in these cases are small because funds are split across hundreds of thousands of patients. Our MyChart settlement calculator shows the range; for breaches, see the data breach settlement calculator.

Three Things to Watch For
Two real breach notices and a lot of hospital-settlement news make Hartford HealthCare patients easy targets:
“Hartford HealthCare MyChart settlement” claim pages
There is no such settlement. A site asking for your MyChartPLUS log-in, date of birth or insurance number to “claim your share” is collecting data, not filing anything.
Calls about your HUSKY or Medicaid letter
The breach exposed claim numbers and dates of service, which lets a caller sound convincing. Use only the number printed in your letter.
Fake MyChartPLUS password-reset emails
The 2026 breach started with stolen employee credentials. Do not log in through an email link — type the portal address yourself.
Hartford HealthCare — Questions People Actually Ask
Is there a Hartford HealthCare MyChart lawsuit?
Not that we could find as of October 6, 2026. We found no lawsuit or settlement over Meta Pixel, Google or other tracking on Hartford HealthCare websites or on MyChartPLUS.
What is the patient portal called?
MyChartPLUS (also written MyChartPlus). It is Hartford HealthCare’s version of Epic’s MyChart.
What was the Hartford HealthCare data breach in 2026?
On March 4, 2026, someone used stolen Hartford HealthCare employee credentials to enter the hospital’s payment accounts on Connecticut’s HUSKY Medicaid provider portal and download files on about 22,500 patients. Letters went out from May 22, 2026.
Is there a Hartford HealthCare lawsuit over that breach?
We found none as of October 6, 2026. The letters offer two years of free credit and identity monitoring; enroll using the instructions in your letter.
What is the Hartford HealthCare lawsuit in the news, then?
Most likely the antitrust cases. Health plans are suing in federal court (No. 3:24-cv-01051), and residents filed a proposed class action in state court in 2022. They allege higher prices, not privacy violations.
Can I join the antitrust class action as a patient?
The federal case is for health plans that paid Hartford HealthCare, not individual patients. The residents’ state case covers commercially insured residents, but no class has been certified there that we could confirm.
How do I know if Hartford HealthCare tracked me?
You cannot see that from your side. Note when you used hartfordhealthcare.org or MyChartPLUS and what you did — booking, searching symptoms, messaging. Our form on this page asks exactly that.
What did patients get in other hospitals’ tracking cases?
It varies. Wellstar agreed to $4,250,000 for about 870,000 people; Henry Ford Health paid $15 per valid claim. See our MyChart claim-form list.
Separate from this case: were you injured in the last 2 years?
Class-action payouts are fixed amounts through an administrator. A personal injury claim is a different case — and often worth far more. Free estimate, no obligation.
